Snack Time with Tristan and Maya

There’s a huge age gap between Tristan and Maya, almost 8 years to be exact. But I love how close they are! There are times when Maya bothers Tristan but for the most part, they are pretty good with each other. Tristan knows his role as the BIG BROTHER. He has to protect his sisters. Maya looks up to him! So I have to remind him that he has to set a good example for her... and Marlee, when she gets a little older. Anything Tristan does, Maya wants to do. He currently plays football and we are planning to sign Maya up for youth sports in the Spring, she specifically asked to play football just like her Bubba. If they had a flag football team for her age, we would definitely sign her up. I absolutely love how Tristan cares for his little sisters. He protects them and makes sure that nothing is wrong. When Trent is out of town, Tristan takes the role “man of the house” to the fullest. He helps out around the house and with the girls. I always wanted an older brother when I was younger. With Tristan, that dream came true but for my baby girls. Just seeing how he is with the girls, makes my heart melt.
Maya looks forward to snack time with her Big Brother after school. Maya pretty much eats anything but Tristan is my super picky eater.
