OVER ON THE BLOG: LIFESTYLE MOTHERHOOD HOME TRAVEL
We decided to do a little something different for our family photo shoot for the Holidays this year. I used to stress about outfits and making sure I picked out clothing that my kids would be comfortable wearing. If you have kids, you know itās a struggle to get them all dressed up. LOL. So I decided to just go trendy & casual this year. We skipped the dresses and button-up shirts. We wanted our personality and FOREVER VIBE to show through our pictures.
My youngest sister has been painting on clothing for me for a few years! However, she moved to North Carolina and I wanted to make a personalized denim jacket for Marlee. Someone suggested using denim patches or iron-on vinyl⦠but I think that fabric paint might last longer. Now, Iām not an artist like my sister and I have shaky hands. Getting it to look right was my problem! I thought about a stencil but I wanted to make sure it didnāt move. Iāve seen projects on Pinterest where they used removable vinyl as the stencil. So I had to give it a try! The design I wanted wasnāt that big and I knew this was the perfect project for my new Cricut Joy!
Oversized outfits are back and Iām here for it! It brings me back to the 90s when I was just a young child. Honestly, Iām loving how everything from the 90s is making a comeback: oversized outfits, tamagotchi, platform shoes, and etc. Take me back to one of my favorite decades! šš½
Letās be real⦠when the clock hits 5PM and everyoneās asking whatās for dinner, I need something quick that doesnāt taste like āquick.ā This beef bulgogi bowl is one of our go-to meals. Itās packed with flavor, comes together in under 30 minutes, and my kids actually eat it (which says a lot). Itās sweet, savory, just the right amount of spicyāand so easy to make.
Whether itās a chill dinner at home or youāre trying to switch up your weeknight rotation, this one never misses.
